If we pay attention, our pets can teach us much. A cat can lie on your lap, the floor, or perch on its own little pedestal. It can be still. Doing isn’t called for. Just being is enough. Dogs can teach us forgiveness. Birds—how to sing in the morning. Goldfish? I don’t know about goldfish, unless it’s how to swim without overthinking it.
But back to dogs: I have two humorous, heartwarming children’s books coming out
